In a perfect world, all bosses will be perfect.

Jack Welch couldn't have put it in words any better than that!

I really felt bad today, for about an hour i felt like a victim. Victim of a bad boss.

I will not narrate the reason for my self-pity, it's just that I really felt
that the comment made towards me was uncalled for and unreasonable.

In his book Winning!, Jack Welch provided guide questions to be used
by employees like me whenever we feel like victims of bad bosses:

1. Why is my boss acting like a jerk?
2. What's the end-game for my boss?
3. What will happen to me if i deliver and endure my bad boss?
4. Why do I work here anyway?

Most importantly, Jack Welch said:

"When you get a bad boss, first find out if you are the problem. That's not easy but in many cases, a bad boss is just a disappointed one.

If you're convinced that you aren't the problem, ask yourself if the company is likely to keep a bad boss with good results. If the answer is yes, the only thing left to do is look at the trade-offs you are willing to make. Is your job worth the price of enduring a bad boss?

If so, put up and shut up, to put a twist in the old saying."

And...

"in any bad boss situation, you cannot let yourself be a victim."
